How do I stop crying

My husband has had an anger issue which he never admits to and recently he lashed out at my nine year old son and hurt him. I called the police and he was arrested. This happened three nights ago. My heart is broken and I love my children I would do anything to keep them safe. But I do love my husband no matter what he thinks. I am angry that he hurt my son and sad that my marriage is over. We have been married for five years and I thought we were ok and then this happened. I need to know how to stop crying especially when our two year old calls for her daddy in the middle of the night. She wants her daddy and so do I. I know though that it is not possible to get him back though. Like I said my heart is broken. And the tears won't stop.
