Who to watch your child

Most parents struggle with who will take care of the child or children when they work. I think this is one of the most stressful things about being a single parent. How to make it to this parent/teacher thing, who will pick the child up when school lets out early, take care of the sick child, take care of the child when I am sick, and summer vacation!!The world has gone crazy and people you once thought you could trust are the sick people messing with your child. Even though I enjoy being a single parent I wish for someone to share the worry with at times. I have been lucky to have family I trust take care of my daughter for me but there was one time I had to put her in day care. The center I used was in home and as I knew the lady who ran its son I thought I could trust her. WRONG! My daughter hated it. My own mother hated it so much she would call out of work just so she could keep my daughter. I thought at first it was just being with someone she didn't know but later found out that the lady running the center was a pill addict. She would leave the children with strange people to go pick up pills or have the dealers come to her house with the children there. She never hit the kids but she neglected them. My daughter thankfully did not have to go often or for very long. When I took her out I later found out the lady running the center was drinking and driving with the kids in the car while messed up on pills. I called and reported what I knew but as far as I know she was never even investigated!
